The biggest thing that spoke to me from this film, and something that really influenced my poster, was that Glaser doesn’t create these wildly absurd, outlandish designs. He takes something very simple, an ordinary thing or concept, and makes it his own. He manipulates his designs enough to make it stand out, and send a message. His designs are bold and simple, and make a memorable statement.
Additionally, what I really like about Glaser is his ability to make sure that he does not confine himself to one style. He constantly pushes himself to think differently, and always pursues new ideas. This is a bold way of thinking and designing, because style can often be a comfort zone for people to stay in and never try to pursue a new idea or challenge.
